Take the Networking Challenge!

Networking is a vital career and business-building skill. Networking is a lifestyle that will challenge you. It’s a smart business person’s skill that you need to incorporate into everything you do. It’s a lifestyle that asks you to be committed to personal development and career management.

You will discover new skills, abilities, values, concepts, new thoughts, ways of being and behaviors that are necessary to maximize your personal and professional potential. Networking will engage your curiosity and challenge you to reach for new ways of thinking.

NETchallengeNo matter what your level of expertise, you can immediately start building better relationships and improving your alliances with your customers and friends. A sales professional, or anyone interested in improving their quality of life, succeeds only as they are able to better themselves and build strong personal and professional alliances. Making sales and creating long, lasting relationships is a moving target. You can’t afford to miss the mark. And occasionally you will.

“When you fail to hit the target, it is never the target’s fault! ~ Larry Winget, The Pitbull of Personal Development, author of “It’s Called Work for a Reason: Your Success Is Your Own Damn Fault

Most people need help polishing that skill to reaps the benefits from the word-of-mouth referrals that come from networking. It is an exciting way to shorten the traditional twists and turns of building trust, creating opportunities, increasing and expanding valuable contacts to achieve success and to excel in business.

Today’s networking can hook up a potential homeowner with the right house, a lonely single with the right life partner or relationship coach, and a working mom with the right child-care facility for her toddler.

I challenge you to learn everything you can about business networking and be creative in the ways you approach staying committed to personal development and career management. Like I said before, “Networking is a crash course in personal development.”

ChangeThe best networkers – the ones that really benefit from business networking – do it because they love helping people and playing matchmaker. They are expert connectors. They do it better when they stay focused by spending a little of their valuable time each day working on their own personal development. It makes them better able to help others.

For what GOOD reason do you do it?
